The Lava Agni 4 enters the market aiming to deliver power in a more budget-friendly package. While its 8.6 mm thickness may not place it among the slimmest contenders, the Agni 4 has a strong argument in the performance department.
Design
Physical Dimensions & Colors

Lava calls it “360° of Unrivalled Elegance,” and while that sounds like marketing speak, the aluminum form is seriously well-balanced. They nailed the symmetry. It’s not a featherweight at 208g, but that heft gives it a premium feel. The phone measures 160.68 x 75.34 mm and is 8.6 mm thick, it’s not slim.

You can get the Lava Agni 4 in two colors: Lunar Mist and Plantom Black.
That Handy Action Button

One little detail I really appreciate is the dedicated Action Button. You can seamlessly switch between functions and apps, such as the flashlight or recorder, using a single click, double click, or long press.
Performance
Processor and AI Core

Under the hood, the Lava Agni 4 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset. I’m talking about an octa-core processor built on a 4nm process with speeds up to 3.35GHz, paired with an ARM Mali G615-MC6 GPU.

But the coolest part? It has a dedicated MediaTek NPU just for Generative AI. That’s future-proofing right there.
Benchmark Scores and Cooling System

If you care about benchmark scores, this thing crushes it, hitting more than 1.4 million on AnTuTu (V10). Everything feels incredibly fast. You get up to 33% faster data speeds, which is noticeable, especially in demanding games. To keep that performance smooth, they added a VC Liquid Cooling System with a 4,300 mm² 3D VC liquid cooling area.
Memory and Storage Configuration

The phone comes in a high-speed configuration of 8GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB UFS 4.0 internal storage. The use of LPDDR5X and UFS 4.0 standards means data access and app loading are exceptionally quick. The system also supports the addition of up to 8GB of Virtual RAM. Note that expandable memory is not supported.
Camera
Rear and Front Camera Specs

Let’s talk about the Lava Agni 4’s camera system. The dual rear camera setup includes a primary 50MP sensor (f/1.88, 1/1.55” sensor, 1.0μm pixel size) with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). It is paired with an 8MP Ultra-wide lens providing a wide 112° FOV.

The primary sensor uses Dual Conversion Gain (DCG) technology, which intelligently adapts to lighting, boosting sensitivity in dim conditions for clarity and ensuring perfect exposure in bright settings.

The front camera is a high-resolution 50MP Samsung SK5JN1 sensor with EIS and a screen flash feature.

Both the front and main rear cameras support high-quality 4K video recording at 60FPS.
Display
Size, Resolution, and Ratio

The Lava Agni 4’s 6.67-inch flat AMOLED screen has a sharp 1.5K resolution (1220 x 2712). The panel is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and achieves a large 93.5% screen-to-body ratio. This display is fluid thanks to its 120Hz refresh rate, and its high visibility is ensured by a peak brightness of 2400 nits.

For audio, the phone features dual stereo speakers for an immersive sound experience.
Battery
Capacity and Charging Speed

Power is supplied by a 5000mAh Li-Po battery. The charging technology is very fast, supporting 66W fast charging. This allows the phone to reach 0% to 50% charge in just 19 minutes and a complete 0-100% charge in 51 minutes.

The battery life figures provided are competitive: 45 hours of talk time, 630 hours of stand by time, and 620 minutes of youtube playback time.
Connectivity
Ports and Wireless Standards

The smartphone includes a USB Type-C (USB 3.2) port with OTG support. Wireless connectivity includes Bluetooth 5.4. It also integrates IR Blaster support for controlling compatible external devices.
SIM and Network Support

Network connectivity is managed by a dual Sim setup (Nano+Nano), allowing simultaneous use of two 5G connections.
Software
Operating System and Longevity

The Agni 4 ships with Android 15 and Lava commits to providing up to 3 major Android upgrades, which provides excellent software support and longevity.
In the Box

I always appreciate a company that gives you everything you need right away. The box includes the Agni 4 itself, USB cable Type-C, charger, SIM ejector pin, back cover, and a service card. Everything you need to get started is in the box.
Conclusion: My first look at the Lava Agni 4

My favorite feature is the practical synergy between the hardware and the form factor. The Lava Agni 4’s premium aluminum build isn’t just for looks; it actively contributes to heat dissipation, supporting the internal VC cooling. The result is a device where flagship performance is not only achieved but managed with impressive control, delivering a stable, powerful experience that feels robust in the hand and consistently fast under the hood.
