If you’re thinking of buying the Realme Narzo 90, you should know it packs some impressive flagship-level features in a cool design, but there are some very obvious mid-range compromises you can’t ignore.
You’re getting a bright 6.57-inch display, 50MP front and rear cameras, and a massive 7000mAh battery.

The Realme Narzo 90 was released on December 24, 2025, in two colors and two RAM options. I’m going to break down every single detail and spec for you, so we can see if it’s really worth buying.
Design
Colors, Build and Durability

You can buy the Realme Narzo 90 in two colors: Victory Gold and Carbon Black.

First off, the layered and flowing line design of the gold model’s back panel caught my eye, with that metal ring around the camera; it looks premium and I love it. As for the black one? It’s just like every other black phone out there.

The real MVP here is the IP69 rating, it’s tougher than your average IP68 phone and can survive high-pressure water. Basically, it’s puddle-proof.
Dimensions and Feel in One Hand

Size-wise we’re looking at 158.36mm by 75.19mm. But honestly? It’s the thickness and weight that surprised me. At only 7.79mm and 181g, it’s crazy light and slim for a device with a huge battery like this. It’s definitely comfortable to hold, but don’t buy into the hype too much; it’s still very much a ‘large’ smartphone.
Battery and Charging
Capacity and Longevity

The main reason to buy the Realme Narzo 90 is definitely that massive 7000mAh battery. Realistically, you’re looking at about 10 hours of non-stop Free Fire gaming, or a full day of YouTube without even glancing at your charger.

They claim it’ll take 6 years before the battery health starts to drop, which sounds amazing on paper, but we’ll see how that actually holds up by year four.
Charging Speed

The 60W charging on this phone is pretty snappy. Hitting 50% in half an hour is solid, though it’s no longer the absolute fastest on the market. It also supports PD2.0 and 33W PPS, so it’ll work well with other chargers, just expect slightly slower speeds.
My favorite part? Bypass Charging. It lets you game while plugged in without cooking the battery, since the power goes straight to the phone instead of passing through the battery first.
Display and Audio
Screen Quality

The Realme Narzo 90’s screen is a 6.57-inch AMOLED, and yes, it’s really bright. They say 4000 nits peak, but in the real world, you’ll get about 1400 outdoors. Don’t worry though, it’s still plenty bright for anything you need.

With that 120Hz refresh rate, everything feels buttery smooth, and those 2.23mm bezels are actually super thin for a phone at this price bracket. It has 1.07 billion colors, which sounds impressive, but for most of us, it just means Netflix looks good.
Sound Experience

For audio, you get dual stereo speakers. They are loud enough for gaming and videos, but let’s be real, they won’t replace a home theater. They’re solid, reliable speakers for daily use, just nothing crazy.
Camera
Rear Camera Setup

Don’t let the ’50MP Dual Camera’ marketing fool you. While the main 50MP sensor is solid for everyday shots, that second 2MP monochrome lens is just for show. It’s only there so they can say it has two cameras.
Selfies and Video

On the flip side, if you’re big on selfies, that 50MP front camera is a huge plus. When it comes to video, both the front and back are capped at 1080p. It does hit 60fps, which keeps things looking smooth, but honestly, not having 4K in 2025 is a bit of a letdown. Bottom line: it’s a solid phone for your socials, but definitely not built for professional filmmaking.
Performance
Processor and Speed

Under the hood, the Realme Narzo 90 rocks the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 MAX. It’s a solid mid-range chip, but don’t expect it to be a ‘flagship killer.’ Paired with 6 or 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage, it handles your daily apps and casual games just fine. But if you push it too hard with heavy multitasking, you might notice a bit of lag or some minor stutters.
Thermals and Cooling Systems

To keep it from melting down, they’ve packed in a massive cooling system with vapor chambers and graphite. It does the job, but if you’re pulling a 3-hour gaming marathon, it’s still going to get warm. The Mali G57 GPU is decent, but honestly, don’t expect to max out the settings on the heaviest games.
Connectivity and Signals
5G and Antennas

As you’d expect, it’s a 5G phone. But it also packs a ‘Matrix Antenna Array 2.0,’ which is just a fancy way of saying they’ve scattered antennas all over the body. This ensures you won’t lose your signal while holding it horizontally for a gaming session.
Wireless and Slots

The Realme Narzo 90 comes with Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.3. It’s a bit of a bummer that there’s no Wi-Fi 6, but honestly, Wi-Fi 5 is more than enough for most home routers. You won’t find eSIM support here, so you’ll have to stick with physical nano-SIMs. On the bright side, if 128GB isn’t enough for you, there’s a storage card slot for extra storage.
OS and Updates

The Realme Narzo 90 runs on Realme UI 6.0 based on Android 15. They’ve promised 3 years of OS updates, not too bad, right? The UI is pretty simple, though you might still run into some pre-installed apps you don’t really need.
What’s in the Box?

They give you everything you need in the box, something I don’t see much with phones anymore. You get the Realme Narzo 90, charger, USB cable, SIM tool, and even a protective case.
