At first look, the iQOO 15 Ultra colors might seem like just two simple choices. But when it comes to buying a phone this awesome, these two colors, Black (2077) and Silver (2049), will seriously leave you torn.

Choosing a phone color is always one of the most exciting and definitely the hardest parts of the buying process. If you’re planning to get this new beast and you’re stuck on which color fits your style better, you’ve come to the right place. Let’s dive in and check out these two gorgeous colors together to see which one is ultimately going to end up in your pocket.
Black (2077)

This isn’t just a plain solid black. There’s a honeycomb pattern right in the middle of the iQOO 15 Ultra’s back panel, accented with an orange-gold color. They named it Black (2077) to give you that Cyberpunk vibe, like you’re holding a gadget from the future.
And the camera module… oh my god! They put a giant square on top that makes it feel like you’re holding a professional camera instead of a phone. It’s got three lenses and a little orange line, which makes me think the iQOO brand really loves this orange-gold color.
Its matte black body totally gives off a luxurious feel. That honeycomb pattern in the middle also adds a super cool high-tech vibe, as if the phone is about to decide for itself whether it wants to charge or not!
It practically screams at everyone that it’s a gaming phone. I mean, if you pull this out of your pocket and put it on the table during an important business meeting or a formal gathering, everyone’s gonna think you just paused a match of PUBG or Call of Duty to be there! For someone looking for a sleek and minimal phone, this definitely isn’t the right fit.
But if you’re a fan of gaming designs and that whole cyberpunk aesthetic, this iQOO 15 Ultra Black (2077) is a really good choice.
Silver (2049)

Well, they named this one 2049. It’s pretty clear the iQOO designers sit around all night watching sci-fi movies like Blade Runner 2049.
Interestingly, it has a honeycomb pattern here too, but it’s much more subtle and faded. I mean, if you look at it from a distance, you might not even notice it. It’s only when the light hits it that it kind of shines and the patterns reveal themselves. This is for someone who wants a classy phone without it being too flashy.
The body color is a matte, icy silver. The camera module is the same, but here it has a little blue line instead of an orange-gold one. It gives it a colder and more professional vibe.

But… wow, that camera module! The design details around the camera frame are seriously awesome and eye-catching. See those metal grooves around it? They look exactly like the focus ring on professional camera lenses and really give off a premium and expensive feel. That metallic blue strip sandwiched underneath creates a really attractive contrast with the silver body and totally nails the look.
The weirdest thing I saw, which really blew my mind, are those vents on the side of the camera bump! Does this phone have exhausts?! I’m serious, it’s like they installed a fan and vents to cool down the monster inside it (which honestly isn’t far-fetched at all for a flagship gaming phone).
The only downside I can think of for the camera module is that in the Black (2077) version, both the body and the camera were dark, so the camera module camouflaged into the body. But here, it’s a massive black square stuck to the back of a very bright body. The color contrast is extremely high, making the camera module look even bigger than it actually is.
If you ask me, the iQOO 15 Ultra Silver (2049) is great for those who want a sleek and modern phone that they can comfortably pull out at business meetings or parties. It doesn’t have that gaming and cyberpunk vibe of the Black one, it feels more like a professional and classy tool.
