I’ve spent way too much time searching through tech forums and X to find every little detail about the upcoming Poco M8 Pro. While I was scrolling through all the leaks and rumors, I stumbled upon some specs that look really good.

Now, keep in mind these are still rumors. Until Poco officially pulls the curtain back, let’s take everything with a grain of salt. But then again, if history is any indication, these leaks usually end up being right on the money.
Poco M8 Pro Specs and Price
So, from what I’ve gathered, we’re looking at a massive 6.83-inch AMOLED display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, which is a huge win for durability. The Poco M8 Pro is expected to come in three colors: black, silver, and green.
Under the hood, rumors say it’s packing the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, running on the new HyperOS 2 (based on Android 15). I’ve seen two configurations leaked: an 8GB/256GB model and a beefier 12GB/512GB version.
Let’s talk cameras! Leaks point to a dual setup on the back of the Poco M8 Pro: a 50MP main sensor paired with an 8MP ultra-wide. This is a big deal because we’re finally moving away from filler sensors to something actually practical. And for the selfie lovers? Word is there’s a 32MP front camera tucked into that display.
But here’s the kicker: the battery. I’m talking about a 6500mAh beast with 100W wired charging. Leaks suggest it can go from 0 to 100% in just 40 minutes. It even has 22.5W reverse wireless charging, which is insane for a phone in this segment.
As for the Poco M8 Pro price, based on the latest leaks, here’s what your wallet should be ready for:

- 12GB/512GB: Around $490 (€418, ₹44,130).

Poco M8 Pro vs. M7 Pro
If you stack this up against last year’s Poco M7 Pro, the jump is actually huge.
Last year’s battery was okay at 5110mAh, but the Poco M8 Pro is rumored to have a 6500mAh battery. If the leaks are true, we are dealing with a slightly heavier phone (207g vs 190g), but honestly? I’d take that extra weight any day for that kind of battery life and that crazy 100W fast charging (up from 45W on the M7 Pro).
The screen also got a nice bump from 6.67 to 6.83 inches, and the selfie camera is way sharper now, going from 20MP to 32MP. The main cam is still 50MP, but we’re finally getting an 8MP ultrawide instead of that pointless filler 2MP depth sensor on the M7 Pro.
