The Poco F8 Pro in three colors and two memory configurations was released on November 26, 2025. It has a smaller size, larger battery, clearer camera, brighter display, more powerful processor, and lighter weight than the Poco F7 Pro.
Now, I want to review all the specifications and performance of the Poco F8 Pro with you to see if it’s worth buying.
Design
Build Quality and Colors

Holding the F8 Pro, you immediately sense the difference. This isn’t the cheap plastic feeling you might expect: it’s a confident, premium device. The IP68 rating is a welcome addition. You’re far less worried about accidental dust or splashes now. They’ve gone all-in with Gorning Gorilla Glass 7i on the front, a sturdy aluminum frame, and a high-quality glass back. It simply looks and feels like a top-tier phone.

You can get the Poco F8 Pro in three colors: Black, Blue, and Titanium Silver.
Premium Construction

Poco has seriously over-engineered the back panel, and I love it. The one-piece milled glass approach, where the glossy camera deco seamlessly blends into the matte back, involved 41 different manufacturing steps. It sounds complex because it is, but the result is a perfect hand-feel. At just 199g, it’s substantial enough to feel high-end but doesn’t feel like a brick. That micro-curved metal frame is key to comfortable long-term use.
Performance
Chipset and Efficiency

This is where the Poco F8 Pro stops playing around. The Flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chip running the show, built on an advanced 3nm process, is the real star. It’s not just about speed; it’s about phenomenal efficiency. I’m talking massive clock speeds (up to 4.32GHz) and a staggering 3,300,000 AnTuTu score. The real-world impact is huge: a 45% performance jump in CPU multi-core tasks while slashing power consumption by 52%. That efficiency extends to the GPU and AI capabilities, making this a true generational leap.
Memory and Storage

You can choose from two storage options with configurations of 256GB+12GB, 512GB+12GB. My review unit has the 512GB storage and 12GB of RAM, and the combination of LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage means apps launch instantly and data transfer is blazing fast. It’s the definition of snappy performance.
Thermal Management

The biggest concern with any super-fast chip is heat, but Poco seems to have solved it with their 3D Triple-layer IceLoop System. They’ve massively increased both the thermal conductivity (+40%) and the cooling layer area (+230%). Crucially, they’ve thought about the user, designing the system to redirect heat away from the areas where you naturally hold the phone. Keeping the device to a maximum of 41.8°C during intensive gaming sessions is genuinely impressive.
Battery and Charging
Capacity and Endurance

Packing a 6210mAh battery into the Poco F8 Pro is fantastic news for anyone who hates battery anxiety. This translates directly to claims of 16+ hours of continuous use, which offers incredible peace of mind during a busy day. Even better, they’ve guaranteed the battery will retain 80% of its capacity after 1600 charge cycles, meaning this phone is built for the long haul. The battery capacity of the Poco F8 Pro is slightly less than the Poco F8 Ultra.
HyperCharge Technology

We all hate waiting, and the 100W HyperCharge is the solution. Getting the massive battery to 100% in just 37 minutes is incredibly convenient: it completely changes your charging habits. It also supports universal charging standards (PD3.0) and even offers 22.5W reverse charging, which is perfect for topping up earbuds or a friend’s phone.
Smart Charging Features

The devil is in the details, and I appreciate the focus on long-term battery health. Smart charging is an intelligent feature that monitors the battery’s condition and usage patterns, constantly adjusting the charging speed to ensure stability and maximum longevity. It’s a necessary intelligence to protect such a massive cell.
Display and Audio
Display Specifications

The screen on the Poco F8 Pro is arguably one of the best part of this phone. It’s a 6.59-inch POCO HyperRGB AMOLED running at a smooth 120Hz. The headline feature is the insane 3500 nits peak brightness: it cuts through direct sunlight effortlessly. The POCO HyperRGB display uses a new subpixel structure that supposedly delivers 2K-like clarity while being more power-efficient. The touch response is also lightning-fast, especially in Game Turbo Mode (2560Hz instant sampling).
Eye Care and Protection

For someone who spends all day looking at a screen, the eye-care features are critical. The All-day DC dimming eliminates flicker, earning multiple TÜV certifications for being gentle on the eyes and circadian rhythms. The fact that it can go down to 1 nit minimum brightness is great for late-night scrolling. Plus, the Circular polarization technology 2.0 makes the light feel closer to natural.
Audio System

The partnership with Bose for audio is a massive win. Sound by Bose Co-tuning delivers noticeably rich bass and detailed sound from the Dual 1115F Symmetrical Stereo Speakers. The audio is certified for Hi-Res and supports Dolby Atmos, making this a fantastic device for watching movies or gaming with great positional sound.
Camera
Rear Camera System

Poco F8 Pro is serious about photography with this pro level all-in-one imaging system. The main camera is 50MP and uses the impressive Light Fusion 800 image sensor with proper OIS. The sensor’s dual native ISO fusion max technology enables a huge 13.2EV ultrahigh dynamic range, which means getting great shots in tricky lighting is much easier.
Telephoto and Ultra-wide

The focus on premium zoom capabilities is a highlight here. They didn’t just throw in a simple macro lens: we get a dedicated, flagship-grade 50MP telephoto lens (60mm equivalent). This is fantastic for capturing professional-looking portraits and punching in on subjects. Plus, the 5x In-sensor zoom is surprisingly useful for grabbing distant details without completely butchering the image quality. The Ultra-wide is the standard 8MP sensor: it does its job well for expansive shots: but it won’t blow you away.
Up front, you get a sharp 20MP wide-angle lens that’s perfectly tuned for sharp, detailed selfies and video calls.
Video Capabilities

The ability to shoot in 8K at 30fps is there if you need the absolute highest resolution, but the smooth 4K at 60 fps is likely where you will find the best balance for daily shooting. The camera can capture dramatic 960fps slow motion, and the inclusion of creative features like the All-new Film Filter and the AI Creativity Assistant makes editing on the go fun and simple.
Connectivity and Security
Advanced Communication

Forget about dropped calls and patchy Wi-Fi on the Poco F8 Pro. This phone’s communication backbone, which they call Xiaomi Astral Communication, is seriously impressive. It centers around the Xiaomi Surge T1+ Tuner, and the boost is noticeable across the board: The phone intelligently stabilizes connections for Wi-Fi 7, 5G, and Bluetooth, leading to consistently faster throughput and zero drop-offs. Poco claims up to a 42% cellular performance improvement. It’s fantastic that it supports flexible Dual SIM capabilities, too.
But the real game-changer? The Xiaomi Offline Communication feature. Being able to make voice calls over several kilometers, even when you have zero network signal, is a killer feature and an absolute lifesaver in an emergency.
Biometric Security

I’m so glad they included an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. It’s quicker to enroll and is much more reliable than optical sensors, especially because it works even if my hands are slightly wet. It’s positioned perfectly for an ergonomic unlock and pairs nicely with the AI face unlock.
Software and Features
Operating System

The Poco F8 Pro runs on HyperOS 3 based on Android 16 and is heavily integrated with AI, which Poco calls its AI Ecosystem. It’s packed with Google Gemini tools like overlay, live talk, and image generation.
Gaming Optimization

The power is managed beautifully by WildBoost Optimization. It constantly predicts the demands of gaming to proactively prevent frustrating frame drops, which is why it maintains such high average FPS and a tight 1% low frame rate during strenuous tests. Gaming on this is consistently smooth.
Multi-Modal AI Ecosystem

This is the future of mobile interaction. The customized AI assistant is powered by Google’s Gemini, providing features like the quick-access Gemini overlay and Gemini Live for real-time conversation. The ability to simply “circle to search” any content on the screen is incredibly intuitive and is fast becoming a feature I can’t live without.
Exclusive Benefits
As a nice little perk, Poco is bundling 3 months of YouTube Premium, 6 months of 100GB Google One storage, and a 3-month trial of Spotify Premium at no cost. It’s a thoughtful way to save the user some money right out of the box.
What’s in the Box?

Like most phones today, there is no charger in the box. You get the Poco F8 Pro, USB Type-C cable, SIM ejector pin, phone case, desiccant, quick guide and warranty card.
