What’s the best Galaxy Z Fold 7 color? If you’re planning to buy Samsung’s new foldable, you’ve probably searched this exact question on the internet a few times by now. Choosing a phone color is always one of the most fun but hardest parts of getting a new device.

Samsung has really made it tough for us to choose by introducing four gorgeous colors like Blue Shadow, Mint, Silver Shadow, and Jet Black. One is super eye-catching and flashy, another has a really elegant and classy vibe, and then there’s one that’s just totally unique!
I’m here to review every single Z Fold 7 color so we can figure out which one will ultimately end up in your hands. Let’s dive right in.
Blue Shadow

I feel like Samsung made this Blue Shadow color for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 for people who want their phone to stand out, but not so much that you can spot it from across the street. It’s this chill, calm blue that shifts a bit depending on the light, and it has a really clean, matte finish.
It’s the kind of color that makes you feel like you’re holding a premium, professional device when you pick it up, rather than some shiny toy. Which makes sense, given that you’re dropping over $1,000 on this flagship.
The design has that same simple and minimal Samsung vibe. You’ve just got the three cameras sitting neatly on the back without any unnecessary clutter. I personally really like this simplicity because at least you don’t feel like you’re holding a spaceship every time you look at your phone.

The Galaxy Z Fold 7 Blue Shadow is a really safe and solid choice. It’s not crazy exciting, but it’s definitely not boring either. But then again, for a device with such an astronomical price tag, I get why some people might want something a bit more thrilling.
Now let’s move on to my favorite color. If you’ve read my previous posts, you already know which one I love.
Mint

Mint is the exact opposite of Blue Shadow; the moment you see it, you feel like the phone has gotten a bit fresher and brighter. It’s a really soft and cool green, kind of like mint chewing gum or that mint ice cream that always looks way more exciting than it actually tastes.
What’s interesting about this color is that it isn’t too flashy, but it isn’t boring either. I mean, when you leave the phone on a table, someone will probably ask, “What color is that?” because it’s one of those unique shades of green you don’t see on phones very often.

The design of this color makes the Galaxy Z Fold 7 feel a bit lighter and friendlier. Darker models usually come off as very serious and formal, but Mint gives you this clean, minimalist vibe. It’s like the phone just came right out of the box and is completely untouched.
A nice bonus is that lighter colors usually hide fingerprints a lot better. So if you’re constantly holding your phone like most of us, you probably won’t have to wipe the back down as much. Of course, if you’re super obsessive, you can find a way to make any color look dirty!
Mint is only available on Samsung’s website, and it’s one of those you either absolutely love or wouldn’t touch at all (I’m definitely on the loving it side). But if it clicks with you, it’ll probably be one of the most unique choices in the Fold 7 lineup. It’s sort of like that friend who always rocks a completely different style and somehow totally pulls it off.
Let’s see what kind of story the next two colors have in store for us.
Silver Shadow

Silver Shadow is a matte, neutral silver that makes you feel like Samsung just said, “Let’s not take too many risks, let’s just build something almost everyone will be cool with.”
It goes perfectly with all your clothes, bags, and styles. You can take it anywhere and never worry about it being too flashy or looking weird. It’s a professional, formal color that looks perfectly in place during business meetings too.
Combined with that simple body and the three neat cameras on the back, this color gives off a truly minimalist vibe. When you look at the phone, it feels more like a precise piece of technology than something made just to show off. It kind of reminds you of those expensive silver laptops that always look sharp and professional.

Silver phones usually have the perk of hiding fingerprints pretty well. So even if the phone is constantly in your hands, it’ll still look mostly clean. Of course, if you want to be super picky, any phone will end up looking like a crime scene after a full day of heavy use!
Silver Shadow might not be the most exciting color for the Galaxy Z Fold 7, but it’s the kind of choice you probably won’t get sick of after a few months. It’s honestly like going to a restaurant and ordering a totally normal meal without too much spice. It’s definitely not bad, but there’s no real thrill to it either!
Jet Black

Look, let’s be honest. This Jet Black is really just your regular black, but Samsung gave it a cool name to make it sound fancier.
First off, I have to say this is absolutely going to be the best-selling color for the Galaxy Z Fold 7. Because everyone knows you just can’t go wrong with black. It’s always safe, always stylish, and it literally goes with everything. It’s like a black suit. Whenever you put it on, you look good. (Well, it doesn’t really suit me, but I guess the black suit isn’t the problem there!)
The camera rings are black too, so they completely blend in with the body. That’s pretty nice because it gives the phone a really seamless look. But at the same time, that exact seamlessness makes it look a little bit plain.

See, this color is perfect for people who aren’t looking for flashy attention but still want to show off a bit of luxury. The seamless and solid vibe is one thing, but those three camera lenses that really stood out on the other colors are finally camouflaged in the dark here and totally merged with the body. But again, that same seamlessness does make the phone look a bit… plain.
The Galaxy Z Fold 7 Jet Black is great for folks who just don’t want to overthink their color choice. They just want to get something classic and hassle-free, and call it a day. But if you’re looking for a phone with a bit more personality that stands out, well, this Jet Black just doesn’t give off that vibe. It’s really just a regular black with a fancy name.
